Mermaid swimming
11. & 15.4.2025
Become a mermaid or a merman and glide through the water with a shimmering fin! You'll learn how to swim elegantly with a monofin to move - a magical experience for water mermaids and sea adventurers!
- When: April 11 & 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. & 2:30 p.m
- Duration: approx. 1.5 hours each
- Where: Family World/Alpentherme Gastein
- For whom? Children aged 7 and over with very good swimming skills (max. 6 participants per course)
- What to bring: Your own diving goggles with nose protection, fins can be rented from shoe size 35.
- Course costs: € 15.00 + reduced children's Easter rate (€ 8.00 for children aged 6-15)

Underwater adventure day

A day full of knowledge and discoveries!
Our program for you:
- 11 a.m.–12 p.m. | Sauna workshop for kids in the mountain forest sauna
- 12:45–1:15 p.m. | "What does Nemo like?" Learn what food our sea creatures love – and join in the feeding!
- 2 p.m.–2:45 p.m. |Marine conservation lecture: "Save the 7 Oceans" with Christian Redl. Why are our oceans so important? World record holder in free diving and conservationist Christian Redl gives exciting insights into his work and shows how everyone can help protect the oceans.
- 3 p.m.–3:45 p.m. | Adventure diving for kids with Christian Redl (no diving equipment required). Children ages 7 and up dive with Christian Redl – the world record holder in free diving can hold his breath for 7 minutes – how long can you manage?
- 4 p.m.–4:45 p.m. | Divers up close. Our divers will show off their equipment and talk about the exciting work they do underwater.
Our crew will be there for you all day and will answer any questions you may have about our Montequarium!
The "Underwater World Adventure Day" program is free for spa guests!
ÖSF Aufguss Masters 2025
It's getting hot again! From May 23rd to 25th, 2025 we can welcome the best sauna masters in the Alpentherme Gastein. The so-called show infusions are evaluated by a jury.

From September 5th to 7th, 2025 it's back on your marks, get set, go! The trail running event in Gastein inspires many outdoor athletes. Trail running is running in the open air, on unpaved paths.
