The Gastein Alpentherme is located about 90 km south of Salzburg and can be easily reached by either car or rail.

Arriving by Car

A public parking lot is available for our guests. We will refund you for the parking fees charged while you are in the thermal spa or cure centre.

From / via Salzburg (approx. 1 hour): take the Tauernautobahn motorway south to Bischofshofen; take the Gasteinertal exit, then Federal Road (Bundesstrasse) 167 to Bad Hofgastein

From / via Munich (approx. 2 hours): See the route from Salzburg

From / via Villach: take the A10 Tauernautobahn motorway to the Gasteinertal exit

From / via Mallnitz: take the “Autoschleuse Tauernbahn” motorail train into the Gastein Valley

Arriving by Rail

The Bad Hofgastein railway station is approx. 3 km north of the centre of town. There are continuous taxi and bus connections.
